Oooh, I got lipstick on you...
and she wiped it off after giving me a goodbye kiss tonight. Ashley came up to SLO to visit as promised this weekend, but didn't find time to see me until tonight. Her and Leah stopped by at the alley and hung out for a good 1/2 hour and just made some chit chat. She was still the huggable and loveable girl that I remembered her to be. Kinda weird at times... but no one is perfect right?
Long day, pretty crappy actually. 335 we got our tests back. The average/median on the Winter '05 test was around mid-40's, and so I figured with around 70+ points I'm in the clear. Nope. This time the fucking average was 61, only because of out-liers that were down low, compared to the 2 that were above 80. The average really should've been around a 66-68 (from what I could see) and the median/mode were really around that range as well. Thus, my score of 67 was not spectacular at all, and I'm actually pissed... because doing average only yields the grade of C, which is bullshit considering how everyone did just as well on that easy test. I guess I shouldn't expect others to do shitty, but to force myself to do even better. (sigh)
314 is gonna get real bad tomorrow... going to have to spend the majority of the day (after I wake up) at school studying my ass off and learning stuff for pretty much the first time ever. Not much else to say, except I am really going to have to buckle down and turn it into "go time".
I need to catch up on reading for philosophy as well as remember to do my commentaries (probably will put it off until Wednesday). What do I mean probably... I already know I won't do it until the 2 hours I have before the class at 5PM on Wednesday afternoon. They're not that hard anyways.
Brian and I made a trip to the observatory for astronomy tonight, he came and got me and I was paid the 40 minutes while I was gone (during work time, haha). It was retarded, I couldn't get the door open, and the commentators were fucking morons who made dumb jokes.
I bowled crappy today during league. I was somewhere around 10 pins or so below my average I think. The rest of the team did just as bad, and we lost. At work I bowled okay I guess, but was still no where near my usual of 150s... I was around the 120-130s tonight. I really need to have my right middle finger checked out, it's starting to get more and more annoying (and somewhat more painful when bumped).

Burn #10
... after Bibby went 1-16 during yesterday's playoff game #1 against the Sonics. I think I've gotten to the point where I expect it, and so it doesn't hurt as much anymore. Here are just some quotes, "Arco Arena must've been built on an Indian burial ground...", "Come playoff time, the Kings are just cursed and their players will get hurt." Except this time it wasn't getting hurt, it was just plain fucked up playing by Bibby the whole night. I mean, if you're going to lose... just lose. DON'T come back after being down 19 freaking points to within 1 point, and then throw up an airball like that!!! Cuttino did his job, we can't have him make ALL of them, but Bibby... man you are the clutch guy... why did you shoot like that???
Well, this weeekend was kind of wasted like all the others, but I suppose I had reasons for wasting some of the time. Friday night all of us 6 roommates went out to dinner at Applebee's for James' birthday. I had the best steak I think I've ever had in my life, that Burbon steak with Cajun rice and onions/mushrooms was the bomb. I sware I'm getting that again next time. Then afterwards we came home and started the madness... shots, beers, and tons of ping pong. After the festivities, we called a cab and after we got in, just as we were about to pull away (oh and by the way, it was the same cab driver that drove me last Saturday to Brian's! and he also remembered me too, after the embarassing act of him messing up) Yvonne pulled up behind us and 2 of them got out and she drove them downtown and we all met up. We hit up the Library first, then went to Slo Brew and shot some pool, then to Frog and Peach. After that we attempted to get to Bull's, only to give up and have James go in with Brandon who we met up with to get a Bull's Sweat, and then we headed back to Frog and Peach. We met up with Dan and Kristin and Carrie, and we all hung out at Frog and Peach for a while. After that, James was ready to call it quits... after throwing up on the sidewalk next to the green bench. They went home, and I went back with Dan, Kristin, and Carrie. We walked what seemed like 20-30 minutes to Carrie's place, but not before stopping at 7-11 and picking up chips and such. We sobered up on the way and then after watching some TV and eating snacks Dan drove me home.
Worked yesterday, watched basketball (which I have a feeling is going to absorb my life for the weeks to come, I'm going to have to find some sort of restraint for myself... hmm... maybe I'll just NOT watch the Eastern conference ones and save some time that way). Then at night instead of going to Yvonn's (which I heard was a bust anyways) I stayed home, watched TV, cleaned the house, and went to bed. Woke up today, played SoF2 (ahhh, that's where the day went, I was wondering how I wasted it all) and did some homework. Had to go to work for a stupid meeting, which wasted another hour of my afternoon. Walked the dog, made dinner, ate it and watche basketball, and then keeled over from the food coma until about 9 o'clock. Did homework, and now I'm here. Man I'm so screwed for 314... why the fuck did the test have to be so soon on Wednesday? I'm going to have to study my ass off on Tuesday to make up for my lacking in that class. I just have to... I'm not a bad student, just need to have my self discipline kick in. I also don't want to be away from Apollo, which is why I stay home to "study" which turns into everything BUT studying. If I go to the library I guess it would be better. I'm going to have to force myself to do that.
Until next time... go Kings.

Blue Moon
... was what was in the keg at 1415 Fairway Drive, the residence of Brian, Jeff, and Dan. It was Saturday night when Brian called me up and told me to get my butt over there for some good ol' drinking. I asked the roommates if they wanted to go, but was denied even at the suggestion of a "cab fare" payment. Well, when the fake ones won't oblige then call up the real ones! The cab showed up no less than 10 minutes after I got off the phone, and we were on our way. It was kinda embarassing how he got lost (actually he misheard the address, but had to look it up nonetheless). The trip cost me $12.50 and I just gave him $16 and to keep the change. It was good fun at 1415, I got the "Don't mess with Texas" or whatever it said mug, which was HUGE... probably at least a good 2-3 beers in each one. The place wasn't that crowded but I liked the number of people there, small and controll-able... but that doesn't mean it didn't get out of control. There was the chair incident, the flag incident, and the camcorder fun of course. We also had the "Glen's Sobriety Test" which Jeff passed flawlessly, only to curse at us for letting him drive (and scare himself 1/2 to death) the following morning. We also had the "D's 1 Dance Move - The Stall" of which was in D's words, "Karma" after falling over and breaking 2 of Brian's lamp light bulbs. We can't forget Jeff running down the street, alongside Dan (about to drive over to Jenny's house) and him screaming at D and chasing him down. We must also take note of the current scores: Brian's Knee - 0, Thick Wooden Chair Leg - 1. Also, Back of Dan's Head - 0, Piece of Broken Chair - 1, and lastly: Jeff's Toes - 0, Wooden Chair - 1. I had no part to do with it... okay fine, I broke a leg too. Oh and another stat for the scoreboard: Armwrestling, Dan - 1, Glen - 0. I spent the night there on their extremely comfortable bed, woke up the next morning and checked out Metal Gear Solid 3 in Dan's room, went and got lunch at Laguna's Bar with Kair and Brian, did some homework, and returned home at around 6PM.
Ashley's coming to visit next weekend, and James turns 21 on Friday. Poor Mike... he will be stuck at home all alone with by himself (or will have to go to a different bar with someone else's ID, or show up at a different time). Should be a fun week, but here comes the EE 335 midterm #1... I am also behind in my reading for Philosophy as well. Better get to bed.

Drunk Throw Up Count: 3
... but it was worth it. Damn, I said to myself in the shower this morning that I was going to write, and look how long it took me before I finally did it. Wait, I was talking to myself in the shower? That doesn't sound right... I was THINKING to myself in the shower today... much better. Party last night at Darra's was pretty damn good and I had tons of fun, from what I can remember anyways. Lots of people there, ran into a bunch of people I knew, played flip cup and beer pong. Great time, until we got into Andrew's car and started driving anyways. My head was spinning so hard and fluids were making their way up my throat as I struggled against every fiber in my body to not throw up. I made it home, rolled into bed and pulled the trashcan next to me, and between 10 seconds to 2 hours later (who the fuck knows when it happened) I let it all come back out... good thing I got aim, and it was clean with no additional mess to clean up.
I should recap the visit by my mom and brothers last weekend. They got to SLO at around 4 (I thought they were gonna arrive around 2 or something, so I waited at work for a while before they finally showed up). We had fun bowling and watching the Kings destroy LeBron and the Cavs. Then afterwards we came home and mom cooked dinner for all of us, while we played some games on the PS2 and then eventually watched some comedy on my computer and then woke Mom up to watch Hero in chinese. Saturday morning we woke up around 11, and went to get lunch at Firestone's. Then we went and climbed Bishop's peak, and that was really a lot of fun too. Afterwards Mom wanted to bowl AGAIN so we went back and bowled and the brothers played video games and stuff. For dinner we decided to go downtown, and we went to Kona's (of which I've never been before) and it was actually 1/2 way decent of a place. Then we went to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where Mom bought a candy apple. We came home, and watched The Incredibles. The next morning (Sunday) we woke up in time to watch the Kings game, and at 1/2 time Will and I went to Firestone again to pick up lunch. After coming home, eating, and finishing the game, the family went home. It was nice seeing them after 3+ month of being away from them, but I guess 1 weekend every 3 months is enough, hehe.
I finally got my ass up and done some stuff today that I've been meaning to do. I've gotten an online photo album ddr2nite.myphotoalbum.com and also explored and am sorta addicted to facebook. The clan also played a scrim today vs. pTp (rather, pTpTp... past their prime time players lol) and just plain destroyed them. We are too 1337, and screenshots prove how gosu I am :P
Well, we are off to week #3 of Spring Quarter tomorrow. What the hell do I have to look foward to anyways... nothing right now, except for each upcoming weekend. Oh shit, it's the 11th already... I better order some flowers for Kara. She won't expect this one at all heehee.
